Shoshi Parks is driven by a curiosity about the world. She is passionate about environmental issues and believes that water security is our biggest challenge. Shoshi advocates for water and climate awareness here in Water[b]logged and loves to write about the world, conservation and travel.

Shoshi has a Ph.D. in Anthropology, speaks Spanish and has lived and traveled extensively all over the U.S. and the world, including Ethiopia, Bosnia, Guatemala, Vietnam and Europe. She’s also a lover of the outdoors – an avid hiker, backpacker and camper.

Shoshi’s work has appeared in 7×7 Magazine, Hoodline and BasilHealth.

At her day job, Shoshi is the owner and head dog trainer of Modern Hound Dog Training in San Francisco, CA. She also writes on dog issue and the dog-lover’s lifestyle for publications like BayWoof, Vitabone and MalenadiMartini.com.
